Pool Service Stop Checklist =========================== A per-visit checklist a pool technician can run at every gate, from the equipment pad to the log entry, so nothing gets skipped on a long route day. [ ] Confirm the pump is running, primed, and sounds normal before you touch the water [ ] Read the filter pressure gauge and compare it to the clean baseline recorded for this pool [ ] Check the tablet feeder, chlorinator, or salt cell and note the level or output setting [ ] Look for drips, wet spots, or leaks at the pump, filter, valves, and heater [ ] Check the water level and note it if it is low again, since that can point to a leak [ ] Test free chlorine, combined chlorine, pH, and total alkalinity before adding anything [ ] Test calcium hardness and cyanuric acid on their monthly schedule, or sooner if chlorine keeps dropping [ ] Adjust total alkalinity first, then pH, then sanitizer, dosed against the pool volume on file [ ] Add stabilizer or calcium only when the seasonal test calls for it, never on a guess [ ] Skim the surface and pull floating debris before it sinks and adds to chlorine demand [ ] Brush the walls, steps, corners, and behind ladders where algae starts first [ ] Empty the skimmer and pump baskets and make sure the weir door moves freely [ ] Vacuum or run the cleaner when there is enough debris on the floor to justify it [ ] Backwash or clean the filter when the pressure is above the baseline by the trigger you set for this pool [ ] Record the readings before dosing, every product added, and the exact amount in the log [ ] Add an equipment note if anything looked, sounded, or read differently from last week [ ] Take a photo of the water and one of the equipment pad before you leave [ ] Flag the pool for follow up if it needs a return visit, a repair quote, or a customer call [ ] Return valves and timers to their normal settings and close the equipment pad [ ] Close and latch the gate and leave the yard the way you found it [ ] Note anything you ran low on so the truck can be restocked before tomorrow's route [ ] At the end of the day, review every flagged pool and schedule the follow ups
