This September

Storm season and overnight cloudiness. Late-summer storms bring runoff, pollen and debris, and a pool that was clear on Friday is cloudy by Monday. Start with the equipment, not the chemistry.

The problem

Chemical readings scribbled on a clipboard never make it to the customer.

When readings live on paper, dosing gets guessed, a green pool turns into a callback, and the customer has no proof the water was balanced on the day you were there.

PoolTendr turns each stop into a fast panel. Techs enter free chlorine, pH, alkalinity, and dosing in seconds, and every reading lands in a history the office and the customer can see.

  • Fewer green-pool callbacks
  • Chemical proof for every visit
  • Weekly routes that stay balanced
  • A service history customers can see
Features

Built for pool service software

PoolTendr stays focused and does this one job extremely well.

Route sheets by neighborhood

Order each tech's pools by drive time so the day runs street by street instead of back and forth across town.

Per-pool chemical logs

Capture free chlorine, pH, total alkalinity, cyanuric acid, and the exact dose added at every stop.

Recurring weekly visits

Set weekly or biweekly cycles per pool and let the next visit schedule itself after each service.

Dosing guidance

Enter the volume and current readings and get a suggested dose so newer techs stay consistent.

Photo service proof

Attach a photo of the clear water to the visit so the customer sees the result, not just the invoice.

Poolside offline mode

Log readings in a backyard dead zone and sync the whole route when signal returns.

How it works

3

Log at the pool

Techs enter readings and dosing at each stop and the history updates instantly.

I built PoolTendr because a pool tech I know kept losing arguments with customers he had no readings to back up. A thirty second log ends most of those disputes.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Can techs log readings without a signal?

Yes. Readings and dosing entries work offline poolside and sync when the device reconnects.

Does it suggest a chemical dose?

Yes. Enter the pool volume and current readings and PoolTendr suggests a dose to reach your target.

Can customers see their service history?

You can share a per-pool history that shows visit dates, readings, and photos of the finished water.

Does it order chemicals or manage inventory?

No. PoolTendr logs what you dose per pool, but it does not track warehouse stock or reorder chemicals.

Can I set biweekly visits in the off season?

Yes. Each pool can switch between weekly, biweekly, or custom cycles as the season changes.

Will it work for saltwater pools?

Yes. You can log salt levels and cell readings alongside the standard water panel.
